Chris DiPietro

For the past 15 years, Chris DiPietro has owned and operated CDi Consulting Services, a consulting firm based in Baltimore. CDi provides government relations and association management services in the states of Maryland and Delaware. Mr. DiPietro offers comprehensive lobbying and consulting services to public, private and non-profit sector clients before legislative and administrative agencies at both the state and local levels of government.

Prior to founding CDi, Mr. DiPietro was the Government Relations Director for Beneficial Management Corporation of America (1997–1998). He represented Beneficial’s interests in the state legislatures of Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. While with Beneficial, Mr. DiPietro actively lobbied and monitored legislation affecting the consumer credit industry, as well as representing the company on the boards of various state trade associations.

Prior to his career in government relations, Mr. DiPietro worked 10 years for NationsBank (now Bank of America, 1987–1997), managing various banking centers in the Baltimore region. Prior to his departure, he managed two banking centers with a combined deposit base of $145 million and oversaw a team of 27 associates. He also served as a commercial loan officer and was responsible for the management of a $12 million loan portfolio. He held the title of Vice President.

Mr. DiPietro has also been active in community service. In 1997, Mr. DiPietro served as the President of the Reisterstown, Owings Mills, Glyndon Chamber of Commerce, during which he coordinated and managed the events and activities of this 305-member organization. From 1995 to 1999, Mr. DiPietro served on the board of directors of the Northwest Hospital Center Foundation and since July 2001 Mr. DiPietro serves as a member of the board of directors of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Maryland and Delaware. Mr. DiPietro also serves the executive committee of Maryland Coalition for Financial Literacy, a broad based coalition seeking to improve the financial literacy skills of Maryland’s students and adults. Beginning in 2004 Mr. DiPietro also holds a position on the board of the Maryland Council on Economic Education. Mr. DiPietro also serves as member of the Alumni Board of Washington College.

Most recently Mr. DiPietro is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Maryland, an independent statewide leadership program which develops informed senior-level leaders. Leadership Maryland’s goal is to cultivate the interest, the statewide knowledge and the leadership capacities of Maryland’s leaders.

Mr. DiPietro, who resides in Baltimore City, holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in business management from Washington College in Chestertown, MD.
